Target for ArcGIS is a geology mapping extension for Esri ArcGIS that simplifies 3D visualisation and analysis of drillhole and borehole geology data within ArcMap. Using Target for ArcGIS, you can visualise your geology data in 3D and conduct integrated analysis to enhance subsurface insight.
Geosoft has made it easier for earth explorers working within Esri ArcGIS. Explorers can visualise drillhole and borehole geology data and quickly integrate it with their exploration data without leaving their ArcGIS environment. Tight integration between Geosoft and Esri ArcGIS, with ArcEngine built-in to the Geosoft platform, ensures easy sharing of data, results and knowledge between both exploration and GIS environments.
With Target for ArcGIS, you can:

Subsurface 3D |
Visualise and analyse subsurface drillhole and borehole geology data in 3D. Zoom, pan, rotate, slice and interact with 3D views of drillholes and geophysical models. |
|
Drillhole Plans and |
Easily create and recreate drillhole sections and plans. Recreating a section or plan is as easy as a few mouse button clicks. |
|
Surface Mapping |
Use design wizards and function rich gridding routines to simplify the creation of grids and contour maps from stream, soil, rock and geophysical data. |
|
Surface and Drillhole Data |
Combine drillhole data with all other surface data and information to create detailed, integrated surface and subsurface maps. |
|
Strip Log and Fence Diagram |
Display drillhole data in strip logs or fence diagrams. |
|
Imports a large number of data |
Import commonly-used data models such as ASCII XYZ, GoCAD voxels and surfaces and DXF. |
|
Compatibility with Mine Planning |
Use any of the major mine planning formats to update, modify or enhance your data, including Surpac STR, DTM and Datamine Wireframe models. |
|
Operating System |
Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit and 64-bit) - Recommended. |
| ArcGIS Version | Requires ArcGIS 9.3.1 (SP2) or ArcGIS 10 (SP3) |
| CPU | A Dual Core processor is recommended. An Intel Celeron processor is not recommended. |
