Why is there a "Sign In with Geosoft ID" item in my toolbar?

Geosoft ID is an integral part of Geosoft’s website and online environments. With version 7.3, Geosoft ID was added to Oasis montaj. The "Sign in with Geosoft ID" option in the toolbar enables a connection from the desktop to the web and other services. This connection enhances Geosoft’s Licensing Service, and is required for new cloud-based services developed for version 7.5. As these services are released or updated, Oasis montaj users will be ready and able to seamlessly connect to them - this connection uses Geosoft ID.
Your privacy is important to us. When you sign in with your Geosoft ID, only licensing information is recorded. Geosoft does not monitor usage in any desktop applications we provide. For more information, read the Geosoft Privacy Policy.
