Objective:

I would like to plot drillhole data together with the output created in VOXI Earth Modelling

Resolution:

Drillhole data cannot be plotted in the VOXI Viewer.  However, you can plot drillhole data in the 3D Viewer together with the output generated in VOXI.

You can either export the output voxel from VOXI and add this to the 3D Viewer, or you can directly display the VOXI results in the 3D Viewer.

Option 1 - To export the inversion results from VOXI and add drillholes to the 3D Viewer:

  1. Right-click the Susceptibility (or Density) item in the VOXI Viewer tree list > Export (or Export Padded) > Save.
  2. Open an existing 3D Map or create a new one, 3D menu > Create a New 3D View.
  3. Add to 3D menu > Voxel.
  4. Add to 3D menu > Drillholes.

Option 2 - To display the VOXI results in the 3D Viewer and plot your drillholes:
  1. Right-click the Susceptibility (or Density) item in the VOXI Viewer tree list > Display results in 3D Map > OK.
You can optionally change the Prefix for the file names and the Map name.
  2. From the View/Group Manager Tool, double-click the 3D View.
    The 3D Viewer opens.
  3. Add to 3D menu > Drillholes.

Notes:

You must be licensed for the Drillhole Plotting Extension in order to plot drillhole data.
