I cannot drag out a rectangular area on a map to make a selection

Symptom:
While editing a map group, I cannot drag out a rectangular area to select a subset of items in the group.
Resolution:
Update to the latest version of your Geosoft application.
Root Cause:
This issue was fixed in v7.5.
